🌟 Foodie Spotlight

Known for its modern Australian barbecue cuisine and MICHELIN-starred status, here is…

Burnt Ends 🍔

Burnt Ends, a Michelin-starred Aussie barbecue spot, has really made itself at home in Dempsey 🔥 Known for its open kitchen and insane wood-fired grills, it’s all about smoky flavours and top-notch produce here.

The King Crab with Garlic Brown Butter was ridiculously good - rich, buttery, and smoky. There was also the Grilled Whole Lamb with Mint Sauce, super tender with that perfect char that you don’t get everywhere! Together, they showed exactly why this place is such a favourite, and honestly made the whole meal feel worth every bite 🍖

🖐️ Top Picks of The Week!

You might have heard of these places, here are a few of my favourites!

Margarita’s 🍲 (Link)

Margarita’s at Dempsey is a family favourite! The Nachos are a standout - baked till the cheese melts into a thick, golden blanket over crisp tortilla chips, perfect for sharing at the table. Their Birria tacos are another must-try: tender, juicy meat tucked into soft tortillas, served with a rich consommé for dipping that makes each bite extra indulgent.

Candlenut 🍖 (Link)

Candlenut is the world’s first Michelin-starred Peranakan restaurant that nails the balance of homely and refined

The Chap Chye is pure comfort, the Babi Buah Keluak is rich and earthy with fork-tender pork, and the Assam Sotong packs a tangy, spicy punch - soulful flavours that keep you coming back for more.

Blu Kouzina 🍝 (Link)

Blu Kouzina brings a slice of Greece to Dempsey with its Mediterranean flavours. With standout dishes like the Grilled Halloumi, Chicken Souvlaki, and sweet Baklava to finish. Light, fresh, and satisfying - it’s a great spot for a breezy midday meal or romantic dinner.

Air CCCC 🍜 (Link)

Air CCCC is all about conscious, community-driven dining 🌱

Their set lunch (from $58++) changes with the seasons, but you can expect modern plates built around local produce. From their Creamy Barley Risotto to the Charred Spanish Mackerel, each dish is prepared with extra thought, providing diners with the experience that feels fresh every time.

🗞️ What’s Newsworthy
